
Rules & Regulations
A) LIVE COMPETITION
Registration Deadline: 10 September 2026, 9:30 pm (Malaysia Time)
LIVE competition: 10 -11 October 2026
Venue: One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor D.E Malaysia
The competition is open to pianists from ALL NATIONALITIES.
A participant may register more than one category by submitting a separate Application Form together with Participation Fees for each category.
The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason for so doing.
No entry fee will be refunded unless a duplicate payment has been made.
All participants MUST PERFORM FROM MEMORY EXCEPT Piano Duet Group (PDC, PDJ, PDO), Piano Solo Adult Group (AP1, AP2, AP3, AP4, AP5, AP6). Failure to do will result in disqualification.
Participants must perform repertoire that strictly corresponds to the designated musical period as stated in the E-Artium Piano Competition & Festival syllabus. Transcriptions, rearranged works, and popular music (POP songs) that are not listed in the examination syllabus are not permitted. Any performance that does not comply with these requirements will not be eligible for marking.
Any participant who does not comply with the GRADE LEVEL in which he or she has entered forfeit this eligibility for a mark.
A final submission of any chosen repertoire stated in applications are NOT ALLOWED to change.
The decision of the jury is final and not subject to questions, revisions or appeals.
Multiple awards maybe given each category. The jury members may decide not to award any prizes on par with the competition standard.
The E-Artium Award and Jury Masterclass Award may be awarded to selected participants from Online and Live categories, based on our distinguished jury members’ recommendations.
B) ONLINE COMPETITION
Video Submission and Registration Deadline: 10 September 2026, 9:30 pm (Malaysia Time)
Judging Date: 21-22 September 2026
All videos must be uploaded to YouTube and send the link to Kunstvoll Artium Event 10 SEPTEMBER 2026. The result will be announced on 24 September 2026 at KAE Facebook.

Recording exceeding maximum time by more than 60 seconds will be evaluated only based on a fragment conformable to the competition requirements.

Mandatory requirements for video recording

The video recording of each piece must be made in succession, without editing.

Sound editing is not allowed.

All performance(s) must be recorded in ONE TAKE.

The video recording must be made no earlier than 12 months before the start of the competition.

Try to avoid unwanted noise during recording (the sounds behind the scenes, and etc.)

Participants must be in concert uniform, visible and recognizable on the video.

ONLY YouTube links are accepted. Links to download the file, sending the file by mail are not allowed.

Make sure that the video is set either PUBLIC or UNLISTED on YouTube. Private links are not acceptable.

The video must clearly show the face and hands of the performer and must be recorded in horizontal.
